As a frequent solo traveler, having discovered sights to see and interesting places to explore is incredibly important to me. Yet sometimes the prospect of spending an entire day wandering aimlessly can feel daunting. Google map Haarlem That’s where Google Maps comes in – it has become my trusty sidekick for planning enjoyable adventures without anxiety. Recently I spent a weekend in the charming town of Haarlem in the Netherlands, and used Google Maps to map out a perfect self-guided walking tour before my visit. By zooming in and out of streets in the historic center, I was able to visually discover attractions within easy walking distance and plot an efficient route to see as much as possible within a day. From iconic landmarks to hidden alleys and neighborhoods just waiting to be explored, this introvert’s dream tool helped plan the perfect balance of solitude and stimulation.
